Privatdozent Dr. Wolfgang Koch IEEE Fellow 2011

For contributions to radar processing and target tracking theory, Privatdozent Dr. Wolfgang Koch has been elevated to Fellow status by the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE), the world's leading professional association for the advancement of technology.

The IEEE Grade of Fellow is conferred by the Board of Directors upon a person with an extraordinary record of accomplishments in any of the IEEE fields of interest. The total number selected in any one year does not exceed one-tenth of one percent of the total voting Institute membership.

Dr. Wolfgang Koch is head of the department "Sensor Data and Information Fusion" at the Fraunhofer-Institute for Communication, Information Processing and Ergonomics FKIE — the strategic partner of the Institute of Computer Science 4. In addition, he is Privatdozent (private lecturer) for Applied Computer Science at the University of Bonn.
